The Driver Risk Profile provides vital information and alerts on dangerous or aggressive drivers, as well as vehicle location in the case of an accident. Using Traffilog's unique, built-in sensors that measure the acceleration between two axes, together with the vehicle's GPS and diagnostics data, the Driver Risk Profile allows fleet managers to improve and maintain their organization's driving standards, by keeping inexperienced drivers… safe. Customers benefit from significant fuel savings of up to 16%, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) improvement up to 70%, and up to a 75% decrease in aggressive driver behavior and safety events.

The Driver Risk Profile determines exact G-force measurements operating on the vehicle, and provides alerts for emergency braking, sharp turns, and harsh acceleration. Further, it recognizes dangerous and reckless driving, including swerving between lanes, or drivers who do not maintain safe distances with other vehicles on the road. The Driver Risk Profile helps to reduce insurance premiums by reporting accidents, and provides notification of event and vehicle location - even in the event of the driver losing consciousness, potentially saving lives with the system's automatic emergency warning.

Traffilog's system analyzes drivers' use of the vehicles' mechanics. Connected to the vehicle's computer (ECM), Traffilog's system traces erroneous driving, such as engine misuse, brakes, vehicle overload by driving at high RPM, and excessive idling. The system presents the data in a comprehensive driver profile, including statistics and graphs that clearly identify problematic drivers.

Driver's Learning Curve

The Traffilog system provides detailed information on each and every driver, based on individual driving behavior or operational driving skills. The objective is to enhance drivers' skills that result in operational cost-savings, including 16% reduction in fuel consumption, significant increases in manpower/mobile assets efficiency, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) improvement up to 70%, and up to a 75% decrease in aggressive driver behavior and safety events. To identify and analyze the Driver's Learning Curve, particularly for new drivers, the system provides a comprehensive profile on a driver-by-driver basis.
