Traffilog's Personal Tracking Device allows mobile resources mangers to trace and locate individuals and assets, providing real-time information without installing monitors inside the vehicle, or having to rely on dispatch or call units to locate mobile assets or property. The Personal Tracking Device improves overall customer service by reducing slack time by less time spent on finding locations, and customers can be notified of a planned arrival. Immediate warnings of emergency situations lead to reduced response times, and events can be analyzed to improve the overall process. Fleet managers can track and trace mobile assets and property, including equipment, and personnel – anywhere – at any time, via the Internet or mobile phone.

The device offers real-time map marking, optional two-way voice channel to 20 different numbers, panic button, and voice warnings for abnormal situations, such as a weak battery. Highly durable and weather resistant, it can easily be charged at home, in the vehicle, or via a computer. The unit can be programmed to test its status, and its parameters can be changed from a remote location. The application can create a virtual Geo-fence, showing planned stops, parking stations, and company offices, and locate addresses and routes as required. Reports are then generated, including the location and time spent at each site.

The unit includes a GPS and a cellular modem that constantly and consistently broadcasts its exact location to a password-protected, user-friendly website that enables users to pre-define their profile. The small, lightweight unit is equipped with a chargeable battery, is easy to operate, and no installation is required.
